(7 June 2010) CEPU members eligible to vote in the union secret ballot on the latest Telstra EA offer should have now received their ballot papers.
Two envelopes, one inside the other, need to be returned to the union for your vote to be counted.
The unmarked, inner envelope is for your ballot paper. The larger reply paid envelope is for the ballot envelope and the identification slip. The slip allows the returning office to check voters for eligibility and tick them off against the voter roll.
Keeping the slip and the ballot paper separate ensures confidentiality.
Ballot papers must be returned by 12 noon on Friday 11 June.
You are strongly urged to vote in this ballot so that the union can assess the views of all of its affected members.
The Divisional Executive has said it couldn’t recommend the offer to members. But the final decision on the offer is yours.
