  1. The CEPU withdraws all the current notices of industrial action concerning 24 hour stoppages being notices dated 15 and 16 February 2010 (in relation to industrial action to be taken on 19, 20, 21 and 22 February 2010) which state that there will be employee claim action in the form of a 24 hour stoppage of work for CEPU members whose normal place of work is all States and Territories.

  2. The CEPU will take all available steps under its rules to advise its delegates, agents and members not to take industrial action in reliance on the withdrawn notices set out in undertaking 1 and not to take any further industrial action in the form of stoppages in reliance on the notice dated 12 February 2010 (in relation to industrial action being taken today 18 February 2010).

 

The CEPU notes that it has other industrial action on foot and these undertakings only relate to the notices concerning 24 hour stoppages.
